About
Pavel Ulici was born on June 09, 1987 in Baia Mare, Romania. He has graduated the National University of Theatre and Film “I.L. Caragiale” the Acting department.
He made his debut as an actor on the stage of Act theatre, with the play named “Games In The Backyard” (directed by Boby Pricop). He played also in “King Lear” (directed by David Doiashvili ), “The Game Of Life and Deth” (directed by Horatiu Malaele), “Barefoot In The Park”( directed by Dana Rotaru) etc.
And several short films among which “Escape” (directed by Millo Simulov) and “The Painter” (directed by Victor Raileanu). His first contact with the movie industry was in 2012 with a small appearance in “The Zero Theorem” directed by Terry Gilliam.
In 2016 he made his debut on the big screens playing the main role in the commedy movie “Lie to me nicely” (director Iura Luncasu). He appeard also in other productions as “The sons of liberty” (director Kari Skogald 2014), “6,9 on The Ricther Scale” (director Nae Caranfil 2016), “Metal Hurlant” (director Gulilliam Lubrano 2014), “Dragon Heart: Druit Curse” ( director: Colin Tague) etc.
He is also a musician. After completing the music school in Baia Mare, he played with several bands.
Currently, besides acting, he plays alongside Flavia Diana Hojda in an acoustic band project.
